I know the ragged, raw pain that never recedes far from present consciousness; the helplessness in the face of a reality so senseless that it defies me to even ponder it. That's what walking in faith is. I have no idea why Jeremy and Brandon were taken from us so abruptly, and why they had to endure that much pain even before. I have no explanation for the self-righteous I-told-you-so's. I do believe with every fiber of me that there is coming a day when we will see our boys again, not as tragically flawed by this world, but free and majestic and God-wild.
